The Ralph D. Small Math Award is a $5000 scholarship to a graduating senior at Westbrook High School. The winner is chosen by the faculty and is intended to honor achievement in Mathematics.
2023 Scholarship Recipient
Kathleen Athearn('04) presents Samuel Berry with a $5000 check for the 2023 Ralph Small Mathematics Award during the Senior Class Awards Night on June 6, 2023. Samuel Berry will be attending Bucknell University, where he plans to major in Mathematics! During his senior year, Samuel did a research project on polygon diagonals and I am including a link to a document he produced about his research.
